ATI Allegheny Ludlum, AK Steel and North American Stainless (NAS) decided to lower their surcharges for stainless steel cold-rolled sheet for September due to the decreased prices of nickel and iron.
According to the price adjustment, the surcharge for Grade 304 was 70.26~73.76 cents/lb, down from last month’s 73.49~77.1 cents/lb; that for Grade 316 was 99.42~102.9 cents/lb, down from last month’s 100.28~103.9 cents/lb; that for Grade 430 was 29.3~32.8 cents/lb, lower than 29.66~33.27 cents/lb in the previous month.
